Pocket Diapers themselves are made out of PUL/TPU which makes their outer waterproof. However, their pocket opening on the inside of the diaper needs to be stuffed with absorbency. You can choose whichever absorbency method works best for you and your little one! Many families love inserts, flats, or prefolds to stuff pocket diapers with.
Fabric options are based on the inner lining material of the pocket diapers. This lining is what actually comes into contact with your little one's skin.

Closure Information
While there is slightly more of a learning curve when it comes to snaps, they are a great options due to their durability!
Snaps will not wear down over time - even after multiple washes! No need to worry about them getting caught or snagged on anything else that may be in the wash. You will never have to worry about your little one pulling off snap diaper. Since each snap is tight, it makes it difficult for your little one to undo.
Hook and Loop diapers are arguably the easiest to use! There is virtually no learning curve when it comes to this Velcro closure.
Hook and Loop is a great option as it is easy for grandparents, daycare, and babysitters to pick up on! Not to mention how simple is is to get a great fit each time.
How to Wash Your Pocket Diapers
It’s always recommended to wash any new cloth diaper products before use, to remove any dust from manufacturing and shipping.
Pocket Diapers only need to be washed once prior to use. You can simply throw your new products in the wash with your normal laundry or diaper laundry. Hang or tumble dry on low.
We recommend you do not use fabric softener or bleach on any cloth diaper products.
The washing and care of All in One diapers is pretty easy and straight forward! Our recommendation is below.
Open diaper up
Remove solids: Knock solids into toilet, Dunk n’ Swish, use a diaper sprayer, or diaper liner to help.
Take out any removable interior parts before washing
Run a rinse cycle on cold
Run a full cycle wash on warm/hot with additive-free detergent. We recommend the use of Tide detergent. Do not use detergents with added softeners or stain removers
For best results, run one more rinse cycle on warm/cold
Line dry or tumble dry or on low/medium heat
