What is a Flat Diaper?
Flat cloth diapers are often just called flats. They're simply large squares of absorbent, single-layer fabric. Available in a number of different types of fabric with a variety of folding styles, flat diapers can be customized to your baby's needs. Flat fold cloth diapers need to be fastened with a diaper fastener, like our popular Boingo or Snappi flat diaper fasteners. Flats do still need to be covered with a waterproof cloth diaper cover.
Flat cloth diaper pros: Flats are the most economical and a single size can be used from newborn to toddler. Flat diapers are easy to wash and dry quickly. They're also useful for all kinds of purposes around the house besides just diapers. Flat diaper cons: Flat cloth diapers do require folding before use and a waterproof diaper cover.
