Who is Nicki’s Diapers?
Nicki’s Diapers was founded by Nicki Maynard and her family in small-town, New Glarus, Wisconsin.
Over the years, Nicki’s has grown into a hub of sustainable products for everyone in your family - from babies to grandparents and everyone in between.
Why Are We Starting This Blog?
Honestly, we want to help you.
The need for a one-stop-shop to speak objectively and to help guide beginners and even the experts with their cloth diaper journey has been needed for years!
There is always something new to learn, fresh advice, and new products that we just have to share!
Not to mention hopefully combat some misconceptions, myths, and well-meaning but damaging wash advice that’s been floating around over the years.
Think of this blog as the handy dandy notebook of all things cloth-y and reusable.
What Will We Talk About?
Cloth diapers? I mean, that should be obvious, no? Just kidding.
This blog is all about making the switch to a more sustainable lifestyle.
While we will feature many cloth diapering posts, there will be a plethora of blog posts on everything “crunchy.”

Who Is This Blog For?
Put simply - this blog is for anyone curious about starting their cloth diaper journey, veterans of the cloth diaper world, and even someone who wants to help save the world in their little small way.
I personally have been creating Facebook live streams for many years, but not everyone can watch them or find them.
Plus, I’ve been dying to write more and it makes my boss think I’m contributing more, HA!
I am excited to share this journey with you and hope you can forgive my terrible jokes, things I will inevitably get wrong (and will come back to update), and some of the outdated slang I may sling around.
I’m in my 30’s and I’m not accepting it very well.
As I said before, there’s always something new to learn! I have been cloth diapering for over eight years now, and not a week goes by where I haven’t learned something new!

What works for one may not work for another, and it’s essential to be informed-especially when it comes to your wallet and the environment.
