Can you believe that 2022 is almost over? It’s crazy to think that in the flip of 2 more calendar pages, 2023 will be here. We wanted to take this time to say hello to our favorite community and fill you in on all the fun we have planned for the future of Nicki’s!
Before we get to that, we do have some explaining to do… If you have been involved in the Nicki’s community for a while, you may have noticed that we have been pretty quiet. We want to acknowledge this. We have launched few prints and no products in 2022. We are 100% responsible for the radio silence and were hard at work looking for ways to truly better the experience we can provide you and others. Thank you for sticking with us. We are eager to share some exciting new things that are coming to Nicki’s Diapers in 2023 and beyond!
We Are Here to Stay!
A lot has changed in the Cloth Diaper world the past few years, but especially the last year. We have spent a lot of time reviewing and planning around the current cloth diaper environment. We are proud to say that we have renewed our commitment to the cloth community!
We want to ensure we can continue to provide you with quality, green, affordable cloth diapers. In an effort to stay competitive as your best cloth diaper option, we are taking major action to ensure we are on the right path.
Nicki’s 2023 Brand, Products, and Prints:
We have had a lot of trouble getting new prints for Nicki’s Diapers and Imagine Baby Products this year. Shipping times were taking more than 6 months, and vendors were in and out of commission due to struggles with Covid. We have been working diligently with our partners to supply new Nicki’s Diapers and Imagine Baby Products far into the future.
Alongside this search, we are shifting our focus to the thing that matters most - making great diapers. You will see some changes reflected on the website starting next week as we look to carry a more focused diaper line along with some complementary sustainable home and wellness products. As the cloth diaper industry has evolved, we are excited to focus on innovation so we can provide the best, high quality, sustainable cloth diaperingproducts in prints that our community will know and love.
With all of this in mind, we will be making some major changes to our launch schedules, but are very excited about the plans we have upcoming! A very refreshing update to Nicki’s Diapers!
Partner Brands
We want to carry the brands you know and love, while also making sure we provide you the most consistent customer experience possible. With an ever changing climate, that has become more difficult than ever. To ensure we can provide you the experience you deserve, we have decided to focus our partnerships on a smaller catalog of partner brands that our community has come to know and love. We will carry select launches from each of these brands every couple of months, focusing on the products that you love most. Nicki’s Diapers, Imagine Baby Products, and Best Bottom
For those of you who have been with us for a while now, you know that we would launch new prints on a monthly basis. Unfortunately, this has become nearly impossible to maintain with supply chain issues all around the world. The last thing we want is to make promises we can’t deliver on. To make sure that happens, we will be moving to seasonal collection drops. We will release new prints & solids less frequently, but when we do, there will be several of them at once! To start, we will look to do this 2-3 times a year. When we do a drop, our vision is to make it more exciting than ever before!
In fact, we already have some big plans in place for this spring, including:
- A drastically improved Imagine Baby Products pocket diaper with daytime and nighttime inserts
- An all new wet/dry bag
- An all new Pail Liner
- A new Best Bottom diapering system designed to be easier and better than ever before!
Planet Wise
Right now, our focus and energy will be put towards making the best cloth diaper experience possible. That means Planet Wise’s best-selling products, like wet bags and pail liners, will move to Nicki's, Imagine, and Best Bottom.

All New Suggestion Box
We hope you are as ecstatic about this new feature as we are! Many of you have probably been asked to share your insight with us at some point, and this idea will make sure everyone has their voice heard. These insight forms go out so that we can make improvements that attract new cloth diaper parents as well as continue to support the veterans in the community.
We have introduced a new Suggestion Box that will help us determine what new products, prints and brands to carry. Please tell us what you want to see!
Use our new suggestion box to:
- Tell us which brands or products you’d love to see us partner with
- Suggest print themes for future designs
- What do you want us to get more of
- Provide feedback about a product or experience
Green Initiatives
A primary reason we Cloth Diaper is because of its positive impact on the environment. While this may not be your primary reason, we are doing everything in our power to reduce our footprint without making our products unaffordable to those of you that rely on them.
We have decided that to ensure our focus on Green, we will set out to be climate neutral by 2030. With your help, we believe we can make significant progress very soon.
Becoming 'climate neutral' means reducing greenhouse gas emissions as much as possible, but it also means compensating for any remaining emissions.
In order to support this initiative, we have to make some tough but necessary changes:
Free Shipping
For years, we have led the way in the industry with free shipping when you spend $10, however moving forward that threshold will increase to $50 as part of our carbon-neutral initiatives.
This change will allow us to accomplish these things in 2023:
- Improved green packaging, including recyclable and compostable mailers
- Lifetime sustainable free gifts
- Shift to carbon-neutral shipping suppliers
These are the first steps to moving towards a carbon-negative footprint.
Carbon Neutral Shipping
Since 1970, Carbon Emissions have increased 90%. In 2021, 34 billion tons of carbon emissions polluted our atmosphere. It is our goal to be a source of change in reducing carbon emissions within the supply chain.
Carbon-neutral shipping aims to reduce the carbon footprint associated with shipping packages.
Upon checkout at Nicki’s Diapers, we will now automatically calculate the carbon emissions that will be associated with your shipment and use sustainable shipping methods to offset carbon emissions on all orders!
Plant a Tree with Every Order
The global supply chain is responsible for around 64% of total carbon emissions.
At Nicki’s Diapers our goal is to help reduce our supply chain emissions by planting a tree with each order to offset greenhouse gas emissions that are produced during the supply chain process.
A mature tree can absorb an average of 22 lbs of carbon dioxide per year!

There’s a lot of great new fluff and products coming your way in 2023 and we are more excited than ever! We are fully aware that many of these things mentioned will feel different, but we believe every single thing is for the better.
