It’s always recommended to wash any new cloth diaper products before use, to remove any dust from manufacturing and shipping.
With Natural Fibers, we recommend washing them 3-5 times with detergent, drying in between to maximize absorbency. Natural fibers will become more absorbent over time.
If you prefer to use after one wash, note that you will need to change sooner or add additional absorbency. You can simply throw your new products in the wash with your normal laundry or diaper laundry. We recommend you do not use fabric softener or bleach on any cloth diaper products.
Best Bottom Overnight Inserts are very quick and easy to use and go underneath your insert of choice. Simply snap your insert on top of the overnight insert, and snap them into your favorite Best Bottom Diaper. With two layers of inserts, you’ll be good to go all night long!
Washing Your Inserts:
1) Remove solids: Knock solids into toilet
2) Remove any snapped in or stuffed absorbency materials before washing
3) Running a rinse cycle on cold
4) Run a full cycle wash on warm/hot with additive-free detergent
5) For best results, run one more rinse cycle on cold
6) Line dry or tumble dry or on low heat
Care For Your Inserts:
Fabric softeners and rash creams can ruin the effectiveness of the absorbency. We recommend you do not use them. If you need to use a rash cream, we recommend the use of a liner along with cloth diaper-friendly products.
Dirty diapers and inserts should not go unwashed longer than 2-3 days for risk of staining.

Finally found an insert to keep my babe dry at night but it takes forever to dry after washing.
This is great, using this with a large hemp on top, keeps my heavy wetter dry for 2 hours! No more wet pants! I wish I could use it for overnight, he just pees too much
Hey Summer! I am so happy that you have found the best insert for your heavy wetter! Yay for no leaks :)
I really like these inserts, especially their many customization options. Mix microfiber top with hemp for night time. Use a smaller insert for a trimmer fit or a bigger one for a little more absorbancy. Add a small under a large for extra toddler protection. I just wish they had more of a loop design so that they would clean/dry better. Otherwise, I love them.
These are by far my favorite inserts. My lil guy has very sensitive skin and is prone to diaper rashes. With these inserts he hardly ever gets them. Which alone is a huge deal. But I also love that they are trim in size, I can pair them with the organic overnight insert and have no night time leaks, and throw them in the dryer on washing days and have them ready to wear again much faster than AIO's.
These inserts are really great. We use the small hemps for the infant months and move up to the medium and large stay dry when we get into the heavy toddler wetting stage. They always hold it all and are great for overnight while still being trim. They don't take up a lot of room in the washer and hold their shape even with line drying.
