We got these for our 4 yr old to begin going to the bathroom by herself in the night since she couldn’t unsnap and snap the other diaper covers by herself. These are working great and we’ve only had a few leaks even though these aren’t the overnight ones.
My kiddo leaked through. He doesn’t leak through regular pull-ups. They don’t go high enough in the front for boys. Also got the wrong size shipped to us.
The training pants are certainly very absorbent and do look like underwear so it's easy to tell my daughter that's what they are. They also are easy to wash and dry. The problem is that it's hard to know what size to get for a kid on the weight cusp line (23 lbs). I bought mediums, thought they were too big and got more small and now I wish I kept a few more of the medium! They are kinda tight to pull on. My main issue is that unlike underwear (and because they hug the thighs very well) they are NOT easy for my daughter to do herself if she wanted to try. I have to struggle a little to pull them up. Even with the mediums they aren't the easiest for a kid to pull up themselves. They are also very low on the waist. This doesn't seem to be a problem for us but for boys it might be.
These training pants are amazing! The sides are stretchy so they're easy to pull on and off, and so far they've held in any accidents we've had.
I really like these training undies. The sides are very stretchy, which makes them easy to pull up/down. And they hold a decent amount of liquid, though still less than an actual cloth diaper. I find with these I have to size up a little, as the recommended sizing for my daughter's weight is far too tight around her thighs. She's relatively average sized for her age, but has reasonably chunky thighs. I find if I put her in the recommended size they're too tight to comfortably pull up and down for me and for her, which defeats the purpose. She's 19 months and 25lbs and the medium are too small, the large fits well. These are a bit bulky, but that's unavoidable with the absorbent layers and pul, though they're nowhere near as bulky as a regular cloth diaper. I prefer to use these when we're out and about and overnight. She's at the point where she has the occasional accident during the day, but mostly takes herself to her ***** when she has to ***. And is almost always dry overnight. She has only pooped in these once and it wasn't a big deal to spray off with the diaper sprayer. These are nice for times where I don't want to deal with wet trousers or a wet carseat. At home she's usually bare bum, or in simple non waterproof padded training undies. These definitely won't hold a full/large *** like a cloth diaper (or disposable pull up) does, so if your child is still in the beginning stages of learning they'll flood them. But they'll catch a small amount and keep everything else nice and dry. They're easy to wash and dry also.
