Totally love these flats. Super soft and absorbent. I love that they are already squared which makes folding styles easier. My LO is a heavy wetter and very slim (9m 16.8 lbs). I love the origami fold paired with bamboo insert and cotton/hemp booster for a 4-6hr hold at night.
I really like these flats. I love flats in general, they are *so* easy to wash and dry. And I can fold them to get as much absorbency as I need. I mostly use these overnight, and I fold in a cotton doubler, with a zorb insert behind it. She never outpees that, it's actually overkill, but I like knowing it can hold the whole night. I'd prefer to change my baby at least once in the middle of the night (when she stirs to nurse) but the disturbance is too much and she gets super upset. I usually do the 'neat' fold or the 'happy anteater'. I use disana wool pull on shorts nappy cover over it. They are very easy to snappy on the smooth side, the side with the terry loops is harder for the snappy to grab. They've not shrunk at all, and have done well through a good few washes so far. And the stretchiness makes it super easy to get a really tidy/trim fit. I'll be back for a few more I'm sure.
I cannot say enough great things about these flats. They are soft, stretchy, affordable, and incredibly absorbent. They hold 18oz at maximum saturation! I've used them for nearly 2 years and they haven't shrunk AT ALL. I love the versatility of flats. I can fold the absorbency wherever I need it to be so these work on my heavywetting toddler and my newborn! A purchase you won't regret.
Finally found an overnight solution. For night time I don't use this alone, I pair it with a birdseye flat. For day time I do use them alone, they can easily hold babe for 3 hours and still not be completely soaks. While these are not stay dry, they are so absorbent babe is not ever very wet. So puzzling how such a thin material can be such an absorbent diaper. Very happy with this purchase.
These did not seem to shrink in the wash as I feared. They fit amazing on my chunky thighed 22 lb 13 m old. I don't see them working on newborns, though, but I haven't tried honestly. They are extremely absorbent and buttery soft. Great quality and price. I'll definitely be getting more.
