Nurturing Ways Infant Massage

Sessions encompass themes of early development and parenting as well as using touch to nurture babies. Classes are designed for infants from 8 weeks old to pre-crawling. Contact the instructor if your baby is younger than 8 weeks old or already crawling to discuss options. Sessions run 1-1.5 hours in length and include materials. Registration is required. Baby-Ready Pets
*This class is designed to benefit expectant parents. It is best if families take this class when the mother is 3-4 months pregnant. that way you will have more time to prepare your pets for the arrival of the new baby! It provides a checklist so that you can prepare your animals and yourselves for a change in the household dynamics. Because of new sounds, smells, and activities surrounding a new infant, pets may see newborns as competition, prey, or even a toy. This 1.75 hour workshop includes informational literature and opportunities to ask questions. This workshop is ideal for pregnant women and their immediate adult family members.
Cost: $7 per family
Instructor: Emily Steinwehe, Dane County Humane Society Shelter Educator
